The Stevens House Goes Country

The Stevens House, loved by many Red Lion guests for its location on Pine Street, was given a complete transformation this spring, including the introduction of the Inn's first (but not last) king-sized beds.

Floor-to-ceiling renovations have resulted in an updated country style that mixes contemporary upholstered headboards and armchairs with antique dressers, lamps and other decorative accessories. Each room is, of course, distinctive except for high-speed Internet access, flat-screen TVs and DVD players on custom-made (locally) trolleys. Of the nine rooms, seven have king beds and the remaining two queen beds. New sinks, lighting and accessories have been installed in all nine bathrooms.

A half block from The Red Lion, on a quiet side street, the Stevens House is the largest of our eight guest houses. Its inviting common room (with a table large enough for conferencing or family dinners) small kitchen and privacy make it an appealing alternative for small meetings or family events.
