Brian works on the research and development of possible new markets for Main Street, and to manage our intentional giving and volunteer efforts within the towns and regions where we live or operate businesses, the industries we work in, and for the issues we support. He has worked for the Fitzpatrick family since 2002, first in sales team management, where he worked with others in the community to grow the tourism and meetings industries in the Berkshires. He came into his role with a solid background in hospitality operations and financial understanding; first as a department head, new unit opening team trainer and unit manager for TGIFridays and then as an Innkeeper & GM for Baron Management (The Country Inn Collection), working with distressed New England properties through tosuccessful transitions. Brian is a member of the National Tour Association (NTA) Leadership as chair of the Advocacy Advisory Group and has served on the board of New England Inns & Resorts Association; the Massachusetts Office of Travel & Tourism (MOTT) International Tourism Marketing Advisory Group, chair of the Berkshire Visitors Bureau board and is a Tourism Cares Volunteer. Brian was also a recipient of MOTT’s Larry D. Meehan Award for excellence in leadership and other national, state and local recognition. Brian is a graduate of SUNY at Syracuse University and resides in West Stockbridge, Mass. with his wife.
