The Red Lion Inn team has the experience and know-how to handle your every need – no matter how out of the ordinary. Our staff has a single-minded purpose – to make your visit as comfortable and special as possible.
Starting in April 2020, Max oversees the operations ensuring quality standards of service and hospitality. Prior to working at Red Lion, Max worked at Canyon Ranch where he served as the Hotel Director as well as Food & Beverage Director. Additional experiences include, Assistant Food and Beverage Director at the Omni Shoreham in Washington, D.C., Assistant Food and Beverage Director at the Omni William Penn in Pittsburgh, as well as holding leadership roles at The Palace Hotel and the Fairmont, where he was named employee of the year in 2011. When Max is not at work he enjoys spending time with his wife Mindi Morin and dog Caesar.
Born in Florida but hometown to Pittsburg, Sterrett began his culinary career flipping burgers at McDonald’s and climbed the ranks to executive chef with stints at Nordstrom Marketplace Café, Fairmont Pittsburgh, the award-winning Superior Motors restaurant, Senti Restaurant and Wine Bar and Or, The Whale in The Distrikt Hotel. His hobbies and interests include drumming, fitness, and working on his car. Favorite foods include Japanese and Spanish cuisine, odd flavor combos and interesting textures. He enjoys cooking eggs, anything he butchered, and seafood. When not at work he likes to spend time with his wife Jen Gelormino and his cat named Snickers.
Director of Restaurants
Starting in May, from Pittsburgh, Jen is part of the dynamic husband-and-wife team with Executive Chef Jon Sterrett. Jen will oversee the dining room operations setting the standard for excellent customer service. Jen has a culinary background and enjoys baking, mixology and spending time with Jon.
Director of Catering Sales & Sommelier
Tim Eustis works closely with the food & beverage team in the planning and execution of specialty functions and group events. In collaboration with Jen, he oversees our wine program ensuring it pairs well with our menus. Tim Eustis has an extensive background in both wine and teaching. He has held numerous positions as a sommelier, wine buyer, journalist and curator of special events in New York City and Paris. He holds a masters from Columbia Teachers College and degrees from Wine & Spirits Education trust as well as the Court of Master Sommeliers.
Catering Sales Manager
Janine assists our guests with planning and executing group rooms and special functions from beginning to end. Janine has an extensive background in Catering Sales and an expert in the tour & travel industry. Starting with Main Street Hospitality in 2018, Janine brings creativity, knowledge, and service-oriented hospitality to our team. Prior to joining our team, Janine worked for 17 years in Food & Beverage and Sales at The Williams Inn. Janine serves as the treasurer and board member for the Mohawk Trail Association. Janine lives in Buskirk, NY, with her husband and two daughters.
From Pittsfield, MA, Sydney worked at Cranwell in Lenox, MA for 10 years and went to Canyon ranch and was the guest relations coordinator. She has her Bachelors in sports entertainment and event management and a master’s in hospitality. When she is not at work she enjoys hiking.
Nelly oversees the housekeeping and laundry departments in her role as Executive Housekeeper. She ensures that guest rooms and common areas are cleaned according to the company standards and keeps the Inn looking its best. Nelly began her career with The Red Lion Inn twenty-five years ago in the Housekeeping Department and has climbed the ranks from within. In 2011 she became the Executive Housekeeper. Nelly is speaks English, Spanish and some Portuguese. She graduated with a degree in Business Administration from Berkshire Community College. She lives in Monterey with her husband, son, and Beagle.
