Absolutely! When you register with the Front Desk, just ask for the password.
How do you find the parking area?
Off the street parking is available in the back of the Inn. You may enter from Elm Street, just south of the old Firehouse, or Route 7, just south of the Red Lion itself. Be careful of the winter parking ban on the streets of Stockbridge from November 15 to March 15, when you are not allowed to park from 1 AM to 6 AM.
How do we get around without a car?
There are several options. Besides on foot. Berkshire County does have a few taxi companies. Taxis charge by the mile, from the destination where they originate AND the mileage back again. They are fairly expensive compared to major American cities. We are just beginning to see Ubers and Lyfts around. We also have a public bus system, called the B Bus. However, it does not run on Sundays and stops at 7 PM. In the worst-case scenario, there are car rental companies throughout the Berkshires.
How far are you from airports and train stations?
As far as airports go, we are 2 and ½ hours from Logan (Boston), about an hour and 20 minutes from Bradley (Hartford, CT), and an hour from Albany, New York. There are train stations over the border in Hudson, New York, and Wassaic, New York. These stations are approximately an hour away. Driving services are available and cars can be rented in Hudson.
