KID-FRIENDLY PROGRAMMING
Make the most of April Vacation Week at The Red Lion Inn, where classic New England charm meets fun for all ages. From April 20 and throughout the week, families can enjoy a variety of kid-friendly programming designed to make your Berkshires getaway both memorable and easy to plan.
Families looking to take part in our week-long, kid-friendly programming during April Vacation Week are invited to join our Cub’s Club package. Designed with younger guests in mind, this special offering includes overnight accommodations along with a kid-friendly welcome bag filled with fun surprises to kick off the week.
Each child will also receive a Cub’s Club lanyard. Please have your child wear or bring their lanyard to activities so our team can easily identify participants.
For families who would like additional welcome bags, they are available for purchase at $12 each.
Guests who are not booked under the Cub’s Club package are still welcome to participate in the full week of activities. A programming pass is available for $20 per child, granting access to all scheduled events and experiences throughout the week.

Make April vacation extra special for your little travelers with our Cub’s Club Package. Families staying at The Red Lion Inn will receive a playful welcome bag for their youngest guests, featuring fun surprises like a Red Lion Inn puzzle, lion stuffed toy, coloring pages, crayons, and a sticker. It’s a thoughtful way to keep little ones entertained while creating lasting Berkshires memories together.

1:00–1:30 PMMake a splash this April Vacation Week with our daily Remote Control Boat Races in the pool. Young guests are invited to race, cheer, and enjoy some lighthearted competition as boats cruise across the water.
Prizes will be awarded to our daily winners, adding an extra dose of excitement to the fun.
Recommended for ages 6–12.
Participation is included with Cub’s Club programming or available with a weekly activity pass.

Make your spring stay even more memorable with a visit to Hancock Shaker Village’s beloved Baby Animals event, running April 18 through May 10, daily from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Guests can meet and interact with the newest arrivals on the farm, including lambs, piglets, calves, chicks, and baby goats. It’s a hands-on experience where children (and adults) can get up close, pet the animals, and enjoy a true taste of spring in the Berkshires.
Beyond the barnyard, the Village comes alive with seasonal programming, including craft demonstrations, guided tours of historic buildings, engaging talks about the Shaker community, and scenic walks along the Farm & Forest Trail.

Side ParlorStart the day with a little creativity in our cozy Side Parlor. Young guests are invited to enjoy a relaxed hour of arts and crafts, featuring coloring activities, hands-on craft kits, and a fun “color your own cup” project to take home.
It’s the perfect way for kids to express their creativity while parents ease into the morning.
