Our eight unique meeting spaces offers a distinctive blend of New England tradition and modern amenities. Step into our antique-filled lobby. Prop your feet up in one of our 125 well-appointed, turn-of-the-century rooms or village guest houses. Relax by a crackling fire. Have a drink in our cozy tavern or sit on our legendary front porch and watch the world go by. It’s a Norman Rockwell painting come to life.


AVAILABLE SPACES

HITCHCOCK ROOM

Capacity 30-175. The Hitchcock Room is the largest of our meeting spaces. An entrance foyer provides space for on-site registration and the room layout can easily accommodate a separate area for breaks.

TOWNSEND ROOM

Capacity 20-75. An inviting mid-size conference room, the Townsend Room combines traditional New England hospitality with modern hotel convenience.

PLUMB ROOM

Capacity 9. Overlooking the courtyard, the cheerful Plumb Room is perfect for private meetings, private dining and other small business and social events.

TREADWAY ROOM

Capacity 16-24. Originally the chauffeur’s dining room, the Treadway Room is the perfect setting for a social occasion or board meeting, smaller banquets or private dinners.

MAPLE GLEN

Maple Glen is the largest guest house at The Red Lion Inn with 17 rooms. A central social space with the latest in technology makes it the perfect location for small meetings, presentations, receptions, and other events.

SIDE PARLOR

Capacity 28. The Side Parlor is located just off the lobby on the first floor of the main inn. It’s perfect for receptions or social gatherings.

SIDE PIAZZA

The Side Piazza is located just off the main dining room on the first floor of the main inn. This charming porch is perfect for cocktail receptions and private dining.

MAIN DINING ROOM

Surrounded by soft candlelight, crystal chandeliers, antique China and colonial pewter, The Red Lion Inn’s main dining room offers a delectable blend of traditional favorites and contemporary interpretations of classic New England cuisine. What’s more, the Inn’s exceptional wine list has received Wine Spectator’s Award of Excellence fourteen consecutive years.

WIDOW BINGHAM’S TAVERN

Named for one of the Inn’s original owners, Widow Bingham’s Tavern offers the Inn’s traditional favorites and updated classics in a cozy, casual setting. Hearty sandwiches, fresh salads and savory soups served in a rustic atmosphere adorned with historic signs, wicker baskets and other memorabilia.

THE COURTYARD

The flower-filled Courtyard provides a magnificent garden setting for lunch or dinner from June through September. It’s the perfect place to enjoy a cocktail under the stars after a hard day of work or a night of theater or music.

THE LION’S DEN

The Lion’s Den Pub, located downstairs from the main level of the Inn takes you back to the days of prohibition. This speakeasy style bar serves craft cocktails, artisanal bites & plates and has live entertainment with no charge unless ticketed event is taking place.
