The Hitchcock Room
Our largest indoor space can accommodate up to 175 people. As the main room in the inn, it's right next to the entrance foyer, our gift shop, and the terrace for easy access to the entire building. With a dozen large windows, the space is always well-lit and bright. Since it has a larger size, you can arrange tables and chairs however you wish, or section the room off into smaller areas so your guests can take a break.
Townsend Room
One of our most stately rooms, the Townsend Room can hold up to 75 people. It has a unique architectural design that combines New England hospitality with all the conveniences of a modern hotel and event space. We can arrange for long tables and chairs for meals for a reception, technology boards for presentations, or cocktail tables for a soiree.
Plumb Room
This cheerful room overlooks our iconic courtyard space, so it has lots of big windows and bright natural lighting. The walls are aesthetically decorated with colorful paint and trim for a pleasing look to the eyes. This smaller space is ideal for private meetings, intimate dining, or other small social events for up to nine people.
Treadway Room
Back before the Red Lion was an inn and the building was a large home, this room was the living quarters of the family’s chauffeur—and it feels just as regal and welcoming today. Since it can hold up to 24 people, this event room is good for social occasions, board meetings, small banquets, or private dinners.
